Lee-Enfield was the bolt-operated rifle - fed by a standard charger - of the British Army from 1895 to 1956. The weapon was used during the first half of the XX century - it has been used in both World Wars and in addition by the members of the Commonwealth, including India, Australia and Canada. The original rifle fires cal .303 cartridges from a disposable charger with capacity for ten bullets and had an estimated total production (including all the different models) of about 17 million units.
